Be filled with the Spirit… A command that changed people’s lives. Don’t be filled with wine. It causes dissipation (scatters energy, over-indulgence) but be filled with the Spirit. It makes you single-minded. You can focus on what you have to do.
I once asked God why he did not bless us with more money, when my parents were in missions and going through a hard time, often selling possession to fund the next mission and pay the bills. As a family we have sold everything we possess several times now to fund the work we do for God. And we continually sacrifice and give because the cause is holy. I got a simple word in my heart that settled it for me, and that aligned my heart to do it all again: “I have given you influence.”
There is a book in heaven that no one was worthy to open, no one was worthy to break its seals. There was silence in heaven. This book contains all the blessings of God as well as God’s final plans for the earth. These blessings and plans could not be revealed unless someone broke the seals of the book.
Entry Points that release the power in the name of Jesus.
Imagine you knew a place with the perfect climate, where you had all your bills paid, where everything belonged to your Father, where you had perfect peace, joy in believing and right standing. That is what we have in Christ, and that is what the devil lost. He hates it when you do well. He hates it more when he throws everything he has against you and you still believe in God, like Job. When we rejoice in our sufferings it delivers a knockout punch in the spirit.
After the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for the first time in the early church, we see 3000 souls repent and become converted to the Way of Jesus Christ. Those who gladly received the word were all baptized and 3000 souls were added to the church. It is not enough to visit a church and say Amen. There needs to be a baptism into Christ and into His Body of Believers called a church. The burial of the old self is essential and precludes the addition to a church of any soul.
So what was next?
You receive the Holy Spirit when you are born again. Salvation can’t happen without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit actually came and revived your spirit – born again. So that is why this verse speaks of the Holy Spirit coming forth as a mighty stream from the inside. It’s time for God not only to come into your house, but also to take control of it.
There are highways in the Spirit. God’s ways are higher — His highways get us to the destination quicker.
How heaven and earth rejoiced when Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem. Every time a seed of faith that is preached is received in a heart and it births a believer, it is the same joy released as at the beginning of creation when the morning stars sang together and the sons of God shouted for joy!
Be encouraged to faithfully present your argument and standpoint of faith, using whatever vacuum exists in your personal aeropaus court of public opinion.
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. -Isaiah 48:17
We shall be built! God will raise up our waste places. What areas in your life have been laid waste? Allow the Lord to restore that today in Jesus name.
What oceans do you face ahead? Let God blast it with a breath of His nostrils!
What enemies are pursuing you? Let God blow with his wind and let the sea cover them now.
What anointing do you have to build God’s kingdom? Make sure you rise up in your spirit like Cyrus and start fulfilling your prophecies instead of waiting for things to happen one day in the sweet by and by – or ‘now-now’ like South Africans like to say.
With God it is not ‘now-now’ but faith is now!

Today is the day of salvation. If you cry out to the Lord Jesus for mercy, He will have mercy on you and change your situation. Acknowledge your need for mercy and put your confidence in Him. Tell Him you will testify about His mercy and His goodness, and He will show His mercy to you. Receive His mercy today and glorify Him.
We ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to see God’s patterns that reveal His purpose through all the situations of our lives. When we see the heavens opened and Jesus at the right hand of God standing and acknowledging you when you acknowledge Him before men, it makes it all worth it.

Let’s continue to fulfill Jesus great commission to make disciples because you can’t take anything to heaven but your spiritual friends!
The lamb & the lion lie together in our spirits, because Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy about the future world in which righteousness reigns in His Kingdom! We have that Kingdom within us. It is our Father’s good pleasure to give us that Kingdom. So we have the lion nature to be bold when we have to and the lamb nature that makes us submit to the will of God for our lives, within us!
Part of the New Covenant miracle of the new creation in Christ, is a return to innocence. When someone Apostle Paul speaks of his former life he actually says: “I have harmed no one nor coveted anyone’s goods.” Has he forgotten his persecution of the Christians and the stoning of Stephen the first Christian Martyr where he stood looking after the clothes of those hurling rocks?It is an amazing quality of the blood of Jesus that presses a refresh button that resets our inner DNA to be born again into a new being that is aware of the past life, but not defined by it.
Christianity has a price tag. It means you must lay down your life for Christ’s sake. It costs everything. Jesus explained, ‘if you lose your life for My sake and the Gospel’s, you will find it.’ While you try to preserve your own life, you will lose it.
God give me the grace

Pentecost is a day that marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the Birth of the Christian Church. It is the 50th day from the first Passover Sabbath. 50 Days after Jesus became our Passover Lamb slain for the sins of mankind. It is also the 50th day after the presentation of the first sheaf of the Barley harvest in Israel. The Hebrew “feast of weeks” is a “day of first fruits.”
Jesus was single-minded to accomplish His mission on earth. It cost his life. James 1:8 tells us a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. A stable mind does not stagger at the promises of God – like Abraham (Romans 4:20). Jesus promised to manifest Him to those who obey His Word. Do you want Jesus to reveal Him to you? Then increase your obedience to the Word of God.
The function and instruction that sets the doctrinal teaching and learning process in order, is called doctrine. This doctrine is induced by a delegate and ambassador of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with miraculous power sent to eradicate heresy and establish the truth. The Truth is a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The most faithful reminder is the Holy Spirit who brings to your remembrance all that Jesus said.
John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Here are specific prayer requests made by New Testament Apostles that are key for us today to intercede for apostles & saints.
We all need a guide. Yes the Holy Spirit is our ultimate guide. But who introduced you to the Holy Spirit? Paul the apostle speaks about remembering what you have learnt and from whom you have learnt it. He also encourages his disciples to do the things that they learnt, received, heard and saw him do. Imitate me as I imitate Christ.
In the New Testament every Apostolic Epistle starts with an Apostolic Blessing or greeting: ‘Grace & Peace to you!’ The reason why the Apostles did that was because they pronounced the Aaronic Blessing on believers! They knew what they were doing and the people understood it too. It is not just a lame religious exercise, but it is a powerful blessing for those who believe!
Because we are forgiven and risen with Christ we put off the old man of sin & selfish living and put on the new man that is made in the image of Christ Jesus (Col 3:5-17) and it has a positive, holy influence on all our relations (Col 3:18-25) We are a new species of being in Christ. We learn to make Him pre-eminent in everything we do or say and He takes care of so many things we think we have to take care of. We cast our cares on Him for He cares for us.
If you can believe that Jesus, the Word of God came and lived among us and became flesh, then gave his life for us on the cross, and was raised from the dead, you can behold his glory in your life today.
That same divine life and light can enter your life, your dormant gifts and talents, your circle of influence and start creating a new world for you to live in. When you get to know the Word of God as a Person, life completely changes for you and every day you start releasing its creative power into every aspect of your life.
It’s hard to think about Jesus praying twice for a man. We expect Him to do it only once because He is the Son of God. And yet he prayed twice for a blind man in Bethsaida. I always wonder about that. Why was it necessary?
There is plenty of incorrect knowledge that sounds right. But we need grace and peace to help us discern all of the voices in the world today. Part of the apostolic anointing is to help believers navigate through the noise to find the right frequency to tune into the voice of Jesus for His Church today.
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. – Colossians 2:6-7
Sent ones are necessary to stir up the Body of Christ to good works, to empower them with the anointing of the Holy Spirit to live out the purpose of the Church, setting an example to the community of citizens full of goodness, faith and the Holy Spirit. Sent ones are not scared to hunt down those with potential and bring them into the fold where they are accepted and can develop their gifts to grow the church.
If you want God to speak to you, learn to meditate until you observe what to do.
You can follow the processions of Christ by grace through faith into Salvation, the baptisms, healing, forgiveness, ordination and function, anointing, power and eternal glory. Are you ready?
We are all called in a specific and unique way. We aren’t called because we are perfect, but because we are willing to serve God for His pleasure and His will. Are you willing to lay down your life for His Kingdom?
You will find great riches on many levels of life if you deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Jesus. There are small moments of self-denial in life that unlock spiritual riches for you.
Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, ‘what is truth?’ He should have asked, ‘who is truth?’ Truth became personified in Jesus Christ. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. And then the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:1-3 & 14) Emmanuel – God with us. The Word or Truth of God sanctifies us.
Fear is the affection of the mind, arising from what the mind conceives as danger approaches. Fear is not real yet. It is what you perceive might happen.
God chose the foolishness of preaching whereby we can be saved, according to I Corinthians 1:21: ‘it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
David’s brothers and mighty men eventually finished the job of slaying the giants of their enemies. David had slayed Goliath, but he had 4 brothers. That’s why David picked up 5 smooth stones and the first hit its target. In this passage of 2 Samuel 21:15-22 we uncover some identifications of spiritual giants and the strategies to slay them.
What breaks your heart? Have you felt shattered lately? What feels crippled in your emotions? What part of you is maimed, wrecked or crushed?
God is near you right now to comfort and mend you with His gold to increase your value. The word of your testimony that overcomes the accuser in your life, becomes a valuable history that increases your spiritual status and in turn encourages other broken vessels to endure and follow the same process of mending by the great artisan that loves you and gave Himself for you.
Qualifications of God’s Bondmen.
The specifications of the Cornerstone that in turn, builds us into a spiritual house for God.
In order to have an understanding with someone, you have to have a special relationship. There are unspoken laws and references to a long history and a fondness that allows room to make mistakes. But there is also a responsibility to remain transparent so that the understanding can continue – that understanding is so precious that you willing to work through anything together to preserve it. Without Jesus we would never have had an understanding with the Father, the fact that Jesus came to earth when He was sent, opened up new levels of understanding so that our relationship with the Father can grow.
