Here are a few guidelines for practical Christian living with patience. The Christian life demands discipline and yet promises the liberty of the sons of God. It seems like a paradox at first, but it really shows perfect patience or balance. The comparison with an athlete in a race gives us certain guidelines for practical Christian living.
Today is the day of salvation. If you cry out to the Lord Jesus for mercy, He will have mercy on you and change your situation. Acknowledge your need for mercy and put your confidence in Him. Tell Him you will testify about His mercy and His goodness, and He will show His mercy to you. Receive His mercy today and glorify Him.
Submit yourself under the mighty hand of God, and He will lift you up! He will fulfill His promise to you – always! Fear is compromising with the devil. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind!

Here are a few indications of how God uses the foolishness of prophecy to deliver the people of God.
The lamb & the lion lie together in our spirits, because Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy about the future world in which righteousness reigns in His Kingdom! We have that Kingdom within us. It is our Father’s good pleasure to give us that Kingdom. So we have the lion nature to be bold when we have to and the lamb nature that makes us submit to the will of God for our lives, within us!

Christianity has a price tag. It means you must lay down your life for Christ’s sake. It costs everything. Jesus explained, ‘if you lose your life for My sake and the Gospel’s, you will find it.’ While you try to preserve your own life, you will lose it.
