Fear is the affection of the mind, arising from what the mind conceives as danger approaches. Fear is not real yet. It is what you perceive might happen.
Superstition is ripe in the world. We see it throughout each culture. We see it in sports. We see it in old wives’ tales. It can bind you, and it must be rid of. It is the fruit of ignorance. It is servile fear — we must not serve God that way.
